2. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)

  • A 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction Technology from an AICTE-recognized institute.

Residency Requirement

  • Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
  • Must submit a Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

Nationality

  • Applicants must be Indian citizens as per Articles 5-8 of the Indian Constitution.

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years (up to 43 years for AE, 45 years for JE).
  • OBC/MOBC candidates: 3 years (up to 41 years for AE, 43 years for JE).
